    Your trust matters. This policy explains what we collect when you join the SaSarjan ecosystem, and how we use it.

    1. Who we are

    SaSarjan operates the website at sasarjan.com and a shared ecosystem of platforms working towards collective prosperity. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “SaSarjan” refer to the SaSarjan team. “You” refers to anyone who visits the site, creates a profile, joins a community, or contacts us.

    2. Information we collect

    Information you provide

    • Account and profile — name, email, password (hashed), profile photo, bio, profile type (entrepreneur, investor, student, professional), interests, and any other details you add.
    • Community posts — stories, ideas, internships, fellowships, problems, solutions, learning posts; media attachments; comments, likes, shares, bookmarks.
    • Initiative and booking forms — information you submit to express interest in an initiative or book a session.
    • Contact messages — name, email, subject, and message content.
    • Chat with the SaSarjan Guide — the messages you send and the responses returned.

    Information collected automatically

    • Usage data — pages viewed, actions taken, referring URL.
    • Device data — browser, operating system, approximate IP-based location, device identifiers.
    • Cookies for authentication, preferences, and analytics.

    Information from third parties

    If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

    3. The ecosystem

    SaSarjan is part of a larger family of platforms including 10xGrowth and SevaPremi that share a common authentication system and a common database of user accounts. When you create an account, a single “global profile” is created for you. You separately choose which apps you want to join, and app-scoped profiles are created only for the apps you join. Content you post in one app is not automatically cross-posted to others.

    4. How we use your information

    • Operate, maintain, and improve the platform and community.
    • Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
    • Respond to your messages and fulfil your requests.
    • Send transactional emails (sign-in links, confirmations) and, if you opt in, updates about initiatives and events.
    • Measure engagement to improve the experience.
    • Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
    • Comply with legal obligations.

    5. Sharing your information

    • Service providers — hosting (Vercel), database and auth (Supabase), email (Resend), analytics, and AI providers that power the Guide. These vendors process data on our behalf.
    • Public content — posts, comments, and profile fields you mark public are visible to other users.
    • Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
    • Business transfers — in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to confidentiality.

    We do not sell your personal information.

    6. SaSarjan Guide (AI chat)

    Messages sent to the Guide are processed by third-party large language model providers. Do not send sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information through the chat. Chat history may be stored so you can return to past conversations.

    7. Data retention

    We retain information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion at any time.

    8. Security

    We use TLS in transit, hashed passwords, and role-based database access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

    9. International transfers

    Our vendors may process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards.

    10. Your rights

    Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information. You can exercise most rights from your dashboard or by emailing us.

    11. Children

    The services are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

    12. Cookies

    We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and functional cookies for preferences. You can control cookies in your browser, but some features may stop working.

    13. Changes to this policy

    We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the site or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
