1. Agreement
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and SaSarjan. If you use the services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind that organisation.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create a SaSarjan account. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of your use.
3. Your account
- Provide accurate information when you sign up.
- Keep your credentials confidential — you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Notify us of any unauthorised access promptly.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you post — stories, ideas, internships, fellowships, problems, solutions, learning posts, comments, and other contributions. By posting, you grant SaSarjan a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, distribute, and adapt your content to operate and promote the services.
You represent that your content does not:
- Infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Contain unlawful, misleading, defamatory, hateful, or harassing material.
- Contain malware or attempts to compromise the service or other users.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the services for unlawful purposes or to infringe others’ rights.
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data without written permission.
- Reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the security of the service.
- Spam, phish, or abuse community features or other users.
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent affiliation.
- Post misleading opportunities (fake jobs, internships, fellowships) or solicit money from other users under false pretences.
6. SaSarjan Guide (AI chat)
The Guide produces automated responses that can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. It is for general guidance and must not be relied on for financial, legal, medical, or other professional advice.
7. Initiatives and partnerships
Any specific initiative, workshop, fellowship, or partnership may have its own terms that supplement these Terms. Where there is a conflict between a specific programme’s terms and these, the programme-specific terms prevail for that programme.
8. The ecosystem
SaSarjan is part of a shared ecosystem that includes other platforms such as 10xGrowth and SevaPremi. You may choose to join other apps in the ecosystem; each has its own terms and app-specific profile. Your activity in other apps is governed by the terms of those apps.
9. Third-party services
The services rely on vendors such as Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Google OAuth, and AI model providers. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions beyond our contractual arrangements with them.
10. Our intellectual property
SaSarjan, its logos, the website design, and all software are owned by SaSarjan or its licensors. Except for the limited licence to use the services, no rights are granted to you.
11. Termination
You may stop using the services at any time and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, create risk for us or other users, or if we discontinue a service.
12. Disclaimers
The services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SaSarjan will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services will not exceed INR 10,000.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold SaSarjan harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the services, your content, or your breach of these Terms.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the site or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
